Pregnancy Yoga Teacher Training Program - Baltimore Training

Yoga SignThe Pregnancy Yoga Certification Program consists of 95 hours of instruction, theory and experiential practice. This program fulfills the requirements established by Yoga Alliance. There will be homework assignments, mentoring, readings, co-teaching and internships before final certification.

Yoga gives the pregnant woman tools to adjust with flexibility, focus and inner calm to the changes that are occurring now in her life.  During the training you will learn:

  • Anatomy and special conditions of pregnancy
  • Special breathing exercises for pregnancy, labor and birth
  • Posture contraindications and special modifications including flows
  • Positive affirmations, relaxation techniques and meditations
  • Pregnancy education, nutrition, discussion topics and tips for labor, birth and early parenting.

This pregnancy yoga certification will give you the knowledge to be able to serve the pregnant woman, her partner, her baby and the family with all the benefits of yoga.  It is a true gift to our future on this earth.

Meditation Facilitator Training

PaintingThis program is ideal for those who wish to teach meditation as well as for those who wish to have a more in depth knowledge of meditation or who have a desire to deepen their personal meditation practice.

The Meditation training incorporates information from many traditions so you can discern how to best meet the needs of those you teach. All meditation paths share the ability to enable us to experience life more fully by reducing stress and bringing integration to mind and body. As Yoga practice gives us a means of accepting where we are in our lives, meditation helps us to transcend our difficulties and integrate all levels of our experience to create a greater sense of awareness of our connection to 'All-that-is'. As our meditation practice is integrated into our daily lives our challenges become opportunities for growth

During the course you will learn:

  • Relaxation and Concentration exercises and techniques
  • Meditation Practices, benefits, styles and common experiences
  • How to structure and run a class
